Thanks, Eddie. By the way, I find it fascinating that people will be so free, especially when posting anonymously, to mock others, as in:

It seems to me that when a person is going to criticize me like that, they should at least offer some specific examples. In fact, I would say that this person's criticism would apply very well to his own statement.

As for a million dollars from royalties, nah, that hasn't happened. I sure as heck don't get anything like $4 a book! But hey I am not complaining. Life is good. Very busy.

On my recent trip to Prague, Zagreb, Ljubljana and Bratislava, I not only trained a bunch of Oracle technologists but also started building some automated refactoring and anti-SQL injection utilities.

Watch out for them at PL/SQL Obsession soon!

Just one of Steve books has sold 250,000 copies, surely over a million dollars in royalties. Steve is also very generous to charities:

"I really adore children, love to play with them, hold babies and feed them and change them and talk to them. I used to spend Sunday mornings from 5 AM to 7 AM volunteering at an emergency children's shelter."
