According to the TIOBE Programming Community Index for January 2006, PL/SQL is the 12th most popular programming language, down from 11 last year. ColdFusion is 16th, up from 25th. The top 3 are Java, C and C++. Does this mean that I have to sharpen my Java and C skills to be competitive? (via)

I could just use the same user name and password on all sites, but this is not only insecure but also most of the time not possible because different sites have different requirements for user name and password size and complexity.

Whoever…utilizes any device or software that can be used to originate telecommunications or other types of communications that are transmitted, in whole or in part, by the Internet… without disclosing his identity and with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any person…who receives the communications…shall be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.
It will be interesting to see the effect of such law on blogs that allow anonymous comments.
