&lt;p&gt;I am very pleased and excited to stretch a bit beyond PL/SQL.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I would like to point out, however, that I am very much the secondary author of this book.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The primary author is Guy Harrison, author of Oracle SQL High-Performance Tuning, and an outstanding technologist, in the worlds of Oracle, MySQL and computing in general.&lt;/p&gt;
