I’ve been a user and fan of the PDFredirect product (free) from http://www.exp-systems.com for a number of years. It also has the nice feature of being able to join multiple PDF documents together without having to open each one and print it to the PDF driver again.
My other favorite free stuff is http://www.7-zip.com–a winzip replacement.
Good stuff, thanks Eddie!

This was a useful post. I’ve been a long time user of 7zip myself.
I just downloaded and paid for the pro version of PDFRedirect. It has a lot more features than the free versions I was using.
I also downloaded a couple of those free MS programs.
Thanks,
LewisC
