White, White Everywhere!
We are having a white pre-Christmas here in Oregon. The Portland metro area has been hit by a major snow storm. It is the biggest storm I have seen since I moved here ten years ago.
So, I wanted to capture a quick snapshot of what it was like around my neighborhood after the storm ended earlier today. I also wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
By the way, I shot the above video using my new Flip MinoHD Camcorder. I love it.

Wow, we are in Summer here so it seems so odd having snow. Looks awesome though
Ill be thinking of that movie, while I cook on my BBQ 
@Campbell you lucky you. Snow can be fun too but now I miss sunny and warm days.
It seems that we got hit across Canada and up and down the North West. Long range forecast calls for more snow Wed/Thurs for Vancouver. One of the very few times that we will actually end up with a white Christmas!

Yeah, we just got walloped with ~2 feet over the weekend just north of Boston. Winter is definitely here!
@Peter Looks like the snow storm has not ended yet. Woke up this morning with many extra inches on top of what you saw in the video above and it’s still coming down hard.

Nice video. I’ve been looking at and dreaming about one of the Flips. I wonder if something that small and simple lets you increase the exposure, so snow doesn’t come out grey?

@Stew Thanks. As you said, the Flip is small and simple, it does not have exposure control. Have very merry holidays.
